Yaverland is a beach on the Isle of Wight. This place is known for it's beach rolled fragments of dinosaur bone that are very common on the foreshore, where they can just be picked up. Other fossils found here include oyster shells, fish bones and teeth, crocodile teeth, sponges, bivalves and ammonites. A lignite bed is also present, which is filled with fossil plant stems, branches, cones and wood.
